Brookfield, OH October 2 2003– Zerco Systems International, Inc., a developer and integrator of optical memory card technology and biometric-based identification and data storage solutions, announced it teamed with Information Spectrum Inc. (ISI), a company of Anteon International Corporation (NYSE: ANT), in connection with a Request For Quotation (RFQ) it received from the Immigration and Naturalization Service (INS) to bid on 1,000 optical stripe read/write drives and biometrics verification systems. Zerco added that it entered a prime subcontractor agreement with ISI in connection with the INS initiative to identify persons entering the United States along the southern borders. The RFQ Solicitation (number COW-3-R-0039) from INS, which operates within the U.S. Department of Homeland Security, is a southern border terminal contract, which is within the scope of the nation’s comprehensive U.S. Visitor and Immigrant Status Indicator Technology program (U.S. VISIT). Through U.S. VISIT the country plans to secure all points of entry, including airports, borders, seaports and other sensitive locations.
