July 25, 2004 — BlueRidge Networks, a leading provider of high availability collocation, dedicated Internet access, managed security solutions and disaster recovery, recently announced that the company has formed an alliance with non-profit information technology business services firm, Platform Lab. The affiliation will provide Central Ohio businesses with low-cost, high-quality solutions for expert disaster recovery/business continuity testing, combined with high-availability collocation and hot-site management. “I am extremely pleased that Platform Lab and BlueBridge Networks have agreed to partner,” said Steve Greutter, business development director of Platform Lab. “We have created a unique offering for testing and deploying disaster recovery/business continuity solutions to large corporations as well as for the small- and medium-sized business owner.” “We listened to the marketplace and delivered a one-stop solution for disaster recovery/business continuity needs,” commented Neil Adelman, chief executive officer of BlueBridge Networks. The disaster recovery/business continuity testing services will be available on Platform Lab’s technology backbone and supported by the Ohio Supercomputer Center. Following initial testing, BlueBridge Networks will deliver high-availability collocation and hot-site management necessary to make the disaster recovery/business continuity testing effective. Adelman noted that “currently, testing any disaster recovery/business continuity plan – which is mission critical to companies – is expensive and really only half of the solution.
