Is making a Budget Difficult?

To many people, budgeting sounds like a four letter word. It makes their stomachs turn, and it gets their heart beating faster. What does it mean to them? It means getting less of what they want and putting a lot more effort into it to do so. They think it is hard to budget. They think budgeting will make spending their money more complicated, and they think that their lack of a degree in accounting will make budgeting harder beyond compare.

To tell you the truth, budgeting is not that hard. In fact, with the right tools, you can make it very simple and very easy to follow. Start out by figuring out how much money you make and spend each and every month, on average.
