Health insurance is very important for a normal life in this country. If you are not yet sure about that, we shall try to understand why.
Imagine being involved in a road accident. You have suffered serious injuries and so has your car. You have to be admitted to the hospital immediately. Emergency services will take care of that. But who is going to pay for the bills later on? And what about all the out patient treatment that you are going to need, are you going to pay for it from your bank account? Hospitalization can virtually drive you bankrupt if not set you back financially at least two years. And you also have to pay for the damages that your car has incurred. And worse still, if you were the party at fault; you might even have to pay for the other party involved in the accident!
