We have always associated drafting tables and chairs with architectural work. However, architects are not the only ones using these pieces of furniture. Over the years, drafting chairs and tables have evolved both in form and in use that even designers, artists, and students now use these helpful furniture pieces. Even the advancements in technology have not reduced the popularity of drafting chairs and tables. In fact, there are tables that have been fitted with CPUs to allow users to work on computer aided designs.
A drafting table or chair has also been referred to in many ways, including drawing table, artist’s table, drawing chair, and working chair. Its popularity continues to grow as more and more people are looking for furniture pieces that can allow them to comfortably work on drawing or sketching projects. There are even some who use drafting tables to keep them comfortable when they need to spend long hours on reading books and other reference materials.
