It holds the phone nice and secure. I can listen over the cars speakers with the aux jack between the phone and the stereo and use the car charger all while being held nice and snug in this mount.

Someone needs to tell the truth. I hope this counts as a verified user review. It fits Sprint HTC EVO & HERO in addition to most GPSs. The windshield mount works great in my husband’s van.

Luckily, my phone survived without any defect. It’s fallen down on the seat twice.

Works extremely well for the price! Fits all phones and doesn’t cover up essential Thunderbolt buttons and ports!

In the truck I ended up mounting the disk to my dashboard and that’s been working fine for me. I haven’t gotten around to attaching the disk to the dash in my car yet but I’m sure that will end up being the best solution there as well. I am happy with it. It would have been nice if was a little less bulky (the body and the foam padding could be thinner).

I only use this when I’m using my phone as GPS or when it’s on Bluetooth. Overall the product was exactly what I expected. It works great for me now; however I am a bit worried if this will last. It would be better if this was mechanical with some sort of manual tightening mechanism instead of being spring loaded. The phone is secure over rough roads and with the case on; I am not worried if it falls in the car. Overall a great value compared to many other universal smartphone car docks. My charging cord works just fine while in this unit. Access to all phone functions is completely unobstructed.

I wouldn’t hesitate to buy another if I needed it. So, I was pleasantly surprised. I got this product to mount my EVO for those road trips when GPS is a must. The beauty of this mount is that I can mount the EVO with the Otterbox case still on it. I’ve gone through a lot of these things, and trust me you’re getting a great deal here. I haven’t had any problems with it coming unstuck or anything, it seems pretty solid as a rock once it’s on the windshield.

It’s a perfect fit for the Droid X. handheld wand scanner.
