Life is never easy. The world is a vicious place. People are looking to kill you, if not physically, than mentally. Most of us live in a world where it is usually mental. People are looking to drag you down, even more if you are on top. You have to know how to defend yourself.

You have to make sure that the people you deal with are aware, that you know your stuff. Otherwise they are really going to take advantage of you. They need to respect your knowledge. Make them respect your knowledge! The most important factor in getting respect is knowing your stuff.

You must let everyone you meet know that you know your stuff. If you’re a business person, look like a business person. Dress the part, act the part. Do not cause any doubt in anyone’s mind that you don’t know your stuff.

Expect the best and people will very often deliver. Give people the opportunity to excel, without opportunity, how can they shine? Do not underestimate people. Give them a chance, be the one that showed them the way to success.

Always remember, we do not live in a perfect world. People are not perfect and some of them, are hell-bent on destroying anyone more successful than them. Be demanding of people and they will rise to the occasion. Be willing to give someone who wants to do better, a second chance.

This applies directly to selecting downline members for your MLM business. If you allow slackers in your downlink, just for the sake of a sale, you might lose that dedicated member to another system.
