With so many choices out there for Online Businesses, we thought why not raise the bar and get rid of 95% of your choices. To do this all we did was raise the ethics bar in the Home Business Arena. We developed a short list of items that you need to look at before joining a home based business opportunity. When dealing with the List of Home Based Businesses, you should be aware that most of them hold around a 90% + failure rate. Use our list and hold them accountable.

There are a few great products out there. It is too bad that they do not have the infrastructure to match the product. Keep in mind it is just as easy finding a motivated person to buy a $ 1000 product as it is to find a motivated person to buy a $ 500 product. No doubt about it. Others will try to keep you on the lower end, but you must have marketing money to succeed so if you want to make a profit (why else would you be doing this) then you need a margin to pay for expenses.

Ask this question, How long does it take to get started making money? The longer it takes you to make money the higher the chance you are going to quit and think the opportunity is not for you. Here is a nugget for you: Getting up and running does not mean that you now have a company website, a product and trainer. Evaluate the person bringing you aboard the opportunity. If they have not developed a training system, then find the person above him that has a formal training program. If you find that the company has the training plan.. run away… do not join. Company training plans are inadequate and most of the time, do not hit the mark. That is why someone down from the company level should have the vision to create a training program and have the ability to teach you great things.

They system you choose needs to be a system that teaches you how to manage your money. This is one of the hardest parts of growing your business, yet there are only a few of us that will even address it.

Your new team should with you the top resources in business set up and integration. Again most are clueless in this area. They will tell you to use the yellow pages and interview an attorney, accountant, tax adviser and more. This is simply setting you up for failure. This tactic alone will reduce your list of home based businesses by 80%.

Training system should meet the following: Webinars, Teleconferences, Video presentations, Live Work Shops and 1 on 1 instruction. This training needs to be above and beyond what the company offers. The sad fact is most of these opportunities do not offer this.

What type of global resources are on the table to be used? A large percentage of the opportunities out there use a cookie cutter approach to this as it saves time and makes their life easier. Did in on this one and you will find out the diamonds. Our goal is financial freedom and this one is a critical piece of the puzzle.

Does your Leader have Strategic Business Partnerships in multiple countries? Make sure they are not just others who joined the team, but actual partnerships aboard that can assist you in growing your business. These need to be real partnerships.

How much time and money does the leader and others spend learning new strategies from outside the company? The answer to this question should be in excess of $ 20,000 per year. This is a true sign of a professional Organization.

What is the group’s success rate? What is being done to increase the success rates? A good leader is always trying to increase his teams successes.

Doing proper investigative work will pay off a hundred fold. Remember that this is a business and past results DO NOT guarantee future results. That little sentence is what keeps the government from shutting down these organizations. It is your job to make sure you are setting yourself up for success.
