Having the proper Six Sigma Training is essential to the success of a Six Sigma Process. There are so many tools and principles that need to be learned that it is easy to get overwhelmed. However, when you take the time to check into Six Sigma even further, you’ll realize that there are a whole other set of tools that you’ll need to have. These tools are about your personality and the personality of those working in your business.

When you are running a Six Sigma project, it is essential that you are personally invested in the project, and committed to the success of the project no matter what obstacles may stand in your way. One of the keys to a successful Six Sigma project is how well you communicate with the members of your project team, as well as any other employees in your company who are not directly involved in the project.

Change agents, can assist you in communicating with other employees, and convincing any skeptics that the project will be beneficial to the business, and therefore to all of the employees in the business. One reason why people may be resistant to a Six Sigma project is because most people typically fear change, especially when they think that these changes may cost them their job.

The more employees you have in your company, the greater the odds are that you will encounter resistance to your Six Sigma project. Again, this is where your communication and inter-personal skills are important to your success as a Six Sigma project manager.

Formal Six Sigma training is critical if you are going to implement Six Sigma in your business, but it is not the only important factor in running a successful Six Sigma project. Six Sigma projects can be very stressful, and difficult, and if you are going to run a Six Sigma project you need to make sure that in addition to Six Sigma training, you have the patience, determination and communication skills necessary to be a successful project leader.
